How to prepare a file for printing

In order to execute any order from you, you have to provide us with a file suitable for printing in the *.tif or *.eps  format, based on the CMYK colour model (RGB is a colour standard for monitors).

The files can also be *.pdf, *.cdr, *.jpg or *.png, but in these cases we must convert it into a *.tif or *.eps. During such conversion, a loss or change of colour settings, file elements, vector shadows, fonts and many other parameters is possible. In 90% of the cases, the conversion will be without any problem but in order to avoid any surprises, it would be best to do the conversion yourself and to carefully check the resulting *.tif or *.eps file.

Please, send us *.cdr files, ONLY if you have no way of sending us *.tif or *.eps file.

Before sending us a file in a vector file format, ALWAYS convert the fonts to curves.

Before sending us a file in a raster file format, do not forget to flatten it (so that there will be no layers).

For low resolution printing:

- suitable for applications with a size of over 2 m2

- prepare a raster file format with a resolution of minimum 30 dpi to maximum 50 dpi, scale 1:1.

For high resolution printing:

- suitable for applications with a size of 1 cm2 to 2 m2

- prepare a raster file format with a resolution of minimum 120 dpi to maximum 150 dpi, scale 1:1.

Resolutions higher than the above listed merely make the files unnecessarily large without improving the printing quality.
